My Story
About the Artist
My name is Glenda, and I love painting in watercolor.
I grew up on a beautiful timbered farm in southwestern Wisconsin. As children, we splashed in the creek, climbed rocky hillsides, rode horses, and spent endless hours pretending to be pioneers. There was always something new to discover and enjoy.
Those experiences laid the foundation for a life filled with art and a deep appreciation for the natural world.
Today, I live on a small organic farm that serves as a sanctuary for wildlife, native plants, butterflies, and bees. A large timber provides habitat for birds, deer, wild turkeys, and trees bustling with squirrels and raccoons. There are hills to explore, fruit trees that keep us well-fed, and sweeping vistas that stretch to the horizon.
Every season offers new inspiration, and there is always something captivating to paint.
Through my watercolor paintings, I strive to capture the beauty, light, and wonder that surround us every day. I hope you find a piece on this site that speaks to you.

Art & Life
I began painting in 2021 by watching YouTube tutorials, taking Patreon classes, and attending a weekly in-person watercolor class with a wonderful group of artists. What started as curiosity quickly became a passion.
I paint watercolors because they bring beauty, joy, and meaning into my life. I hope you'll find something here that speaks to you as well.
Our homes are the center of our lives. They are places where children grow, friends gather, celebrations are shared, and life's many changes unfold. Homes can be busy and chaotic, quiet and peaceful—but they are always home.
The artwork we choose helps tell our story. It reflects the things we cherish: walks through the woods, sunny autumn afternoons at the orchard, the songbirds outside the window, or the backyard hen that entertains us in the afternoon and provides eggs in the morning.
My paintings reflect those same values. I have a deep appreciation for nature, simple pleasures, and the beauty found in everyday life. Through watercolor, I strive to capture moments that invite reflection, bring comfort, and celebrate the world around us.
