My Old Friend Grant

traveling exhibit for 2022-2023

Boston Terriers are not typically known for being "cow dogs," but Grant is an unusual case. We adopted Grant from the animal shelter as a four-year-old, and Grant slowly warmed up to his new family. Eventually, Grant's favorite thing became helping to move the cattle around the farm.

Though he is short-legged and small-statured, Grant loves being a "cow dog." He walks along with the cattle following behind him, unaware that the livestock dogs are driving the cattle from the rear of the herd.
