What is a Giclee Print?
What is a Giclee Print?
Glenda Plozay, of Glenda's Art Studio sells quality Giclee prints on archival paper. Giclee printing uses special light-fast inks. These inks are archival certified, and if treated properly, will last a lifetime. The way the image is scanned is different also. The original is scanned directly on a drum scanner or large flatbed. Giclee (pronounced Gee’clay) is the best way to produce archival reproductions of fine art.
